There are lots of opportunities to volunteer and work for God and others around Redeemer.
If you wish, you can scoop ice cream in the summer and help prepare Taco Dinners in the winter. Also, you could help put Thanksgiving food baskets together for those in need, visit those who are sick or shut-in, read stories to children, care for the homeless, or hand-out candy to children in our own neighborhood on Halloween.
Yes, there are these and many other needs that need caring for. Call 882-8000 or email Pastor Jan at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to help others in some way. Thank You!!!
Helping Hands Christian Learning Center, www.hhclearningcenter.com is a ministry of Redeemer Church who cares for the children of our surrounding community, M-F, from 7 am till 6 pm. We have (6) programs active at our Center: Child Care, Pre-School, Kindergarten Readiness, Summer Program, Before & After School Program and a Federal Food Program.
This is a program that invites youth from Michigan State University, Lansing Community College, and our Surrounding High Schools to come in and share their education and training with our children and in exchange receive credit toward their future education.
Also, we encourage members of the "Foster Grand Parent Program" to share their time and wisdom with our youth as many of our children are lacking the presence of grandparents in their lives.
To find out how you can volunteer at "Helping Hands" call 882-8622 and ask for Carla or email her at email@example.com
There are many avenues available within and around our city that would invite you to share your gifts and time with those in need. See the websites below and find a "niche" that fits both your skills and time slot. Yes, a moment of your time can change a life forever.
